Facebook, a product of Meta Platforms, Inc., demonstrated a consistent rise in revenue, peaking at around $860K in late October. Downloads showed a peak of approximately 705K in early December, while weekly active users saw a high of nearly 117.6M in the same period.
Messenger, also owned by Meta Platforms, Inc., had a steady incline in downloads, reaching over 615K in early December. Despite having no reported revenue, the app's weekly active users experienced a slight dip, concluding the quarter with around 49.8M active users.
Discord - Chat, Talk & Hangout by Discord, Inc. saw its revenue grow significantly in December, with a notable spike to $800K in the third week. Downloads started at a high of over 583K at the quarter's start and ended with around 385K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter with over 14M.
WhatsApp Messenger from WhatsApp Inc. brought in negligible revenue, but downloads surged to over 410K in early December. The app's weekly active users fluctuated slightly, finishing the quarter with just under 47.5M.
Lastly, Google Meet by Google LLC, while not generating revenue, saw a significant jump in downloads to nearly 390K in the third week of December. The app's weekly active users saw a peak of over 3.4M in the same month.
